Paul and Debbie Martin Teaching Ministries grew out of a belief that most Christians want to serve God. We too, wanted to see God working through us to see people healed, delivered, marriages restored, and the promises of scripture activated in our lives. Charles Schultz made famous the phrase "Don't be cold snoopy." When it's snowing and it's twenty degrees, how do you keep from being cold? Just saying don't be cold does not change the temperature or whatever situation you are facing at the time. Knowing we should be seeing God's power flowing through us is vastly different than experiencing it.
We had been involved in ministry for a number of years in the United States when we were challenged to go to Brazil with Dr. Randy Clark on a healing mission. That experience stretched us, to say the least, as we saw God demonstrate the gifts of the Spirit of Romans twelve among our team. God used us to bring healing to many people, including restoring sight to the blind.
Not long after going to Brazil, we connected with a local pastor who had been ministering in Cuba for a number of years. He asked us to join him to teach during the day while he preached evangelistic meetings in the evenings. That started a long-standing relationship with several Cuban pastors which we still support and minister among. One trip lead to another that eventually took us to teach at the Holy Spirit Encounter in Zambia, Africa. After the seminar, one leader said "After this week's training, there is no reason why pastors have to do all the work of the ministry." While in Brazil, we met a wonderful couple from England who were reviving a local church and they asked us to come and teach. Through our connection in England, we were invited to go to Zambia, Africa, and teach in and around an orphanage. We taught and took the young people with us to five villages around the orphanage telling people about Jesus, culminating in a large tent meeting involving people from all around the area.

Our experience is that God will use anyone who will make themselves available. Our goal is to train and release people to a fulfilling ministry in the lives of their families, friends, and neighbors. We would love to be of assistance in your location should God permit.
Many Christians sit in church all their lives, hearing of the wonderful things Jesus, the disciples, and the first-century church accomplished. Their heart's desire is to operate in all we are admonished from scripture to do. They want to share their faith, encourage others, pray for healing, deliverance, restoration, miracles, and on and on. We have found that most people have the desire, they just don't know how.
We believe God has shown us over decades of ministry some practical and easy ways to operate in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Authority of Scripture, how to effectively witness to our friends, enjoy a happy marriage, and more in seminar settings or small groups. Along with teaching principles, we use activations to practice what we are learning so when the participants leave the seminar, they have tools to see God use them in their lives and the lives of others.
Seminars typically begin on a Friday evening with an outreach meeting where friends can be invited to receive Christ and ministry, depending on their individual needs. The seminar begins Saturday morning and goes through the afternoon with a break for lunch. Each section is enhanced with activations which allows the participants to practice the tools taught. While we understand the Holy Spirit does not act on a script, we can learn to develop an atmosphere where He is free to move.
We believe in the local church and are committed to working alongside the pastor and staff in equipping believers and releasing them into their communities to effectively be ambassadors for Christ. 2Cor. 5:20.
